Savills Aguirre Newman has acquired the shopping centre division of Knight Frank in Spain.
The company said that the operation is part of the group’s plan to reinforce its retail offering. Following the deal, the company will manage 41 retail assets in the country with a 75 staff.
‘This is the most relevant strategic operation carried out in shopping center consultancy in the last decade, and shows our firm commitment to the sector at a time where services are needed to generate added value,’ said Jaime Pascual-Sanchiz, CEO of Savills Aguirre Newman.
Deloitte Financial Advisory and Deloitte Legal advised the vendor while CMS acted for the buyer.
