Property adviser Savills has acted for Nueva Rumasa in the acquisition of an industrial development site outside Barcelona, which will result in a EUR 40 mln headquarters and production plant for chocolate milk drink manufacturer Cacaolat.
The 20,0000m2 property will be located at A7 Llinars Park, Llinars del Vallès, Barcelona. Industrial parks developer Clapé Group has been appointed to lead the construction process which will result in a plant with three production lines to make smoothies, sterile pasteurized milk, juice and horchata producing 'Cacaolat', 'Latvian', 'The Levantine', 'Sali' and 'Clesa'.
The building, which will incorporate modern environmental design techniques, is due for completion in September 2011.
