International electronics company Sauer-Danfoss has signed a lease agreement for 18,750 m2 of production and warehouse space and 2,154 m2 in Panattoni Park Wroclaw, a logistics centre development by industrial real estate developer Panattoni Europe near Wroclaw, Poland.
Panattoni Park Wroclaw logistics centre is situated in Bielany Wroclawskie, 11 kilometres from the centre of Wroclaw. Total space in the scheme is set to be 84,000 m2. Sauer-Danfoss said it plans to open a new manufacturing facility in the first half of 2009 on the site, where it expects to employ 400.
Real estate consultants Cushman & Wakefield advised Panattoni Europe in the lease negotiations. 'This transaction proves that modern logistics centers are ideal locations for production companies with the highest requirements,' said Jan Barbasiewicz, a Cushman & Wakefield negotiator. 'A number of technical alterations in the facility as well in the park infrastructure have been made to suit the tenant's needs.'
