Cushman & Wakefield (C&W) announced on Wednesday that Joachim Sandberg will be the new head of the property advisor's 100-strong Italian operation. He takes up the position in January 2011.

Cushman & Wakefield (C&W) announced on Wednesday that Joachim Sandberg will be the new head of the property advisor's 100-strong Italian operation. He takes up the position in January 2011.

Sandberg has been a partner and head of the C&W's Rome office for the past 12 years. He succeeds Harry Farthing who is retiring from the partnership after a 23-year career at C&W.

Sandberg joined C&W in 1996 and opened the C&W Rome office in 1998 becoming a partner the same year. Responsible for some of the biggest deals that C&W has undertaken in Italy, Joachim has been resident in Italy for most of his life and has a strong Italian and international client base.
