The Salvation Army International Trustee Company has appointed CBRE as its first global real estate advisor following a competitive tender process.
The Salvation Army, a church that is also one of the world's leading providers of social services, has its international headquarters in the City of London and operates in 124 countries. CBRE will provide The Salvation Army International Trustee Company with property advice, transaction management and project management services for an extensive portfolio of offices, residential buildings, hospitals, churches and schools on a global basis.
'For us the global recession has brought a sharper focus on strategic priorities and in particular the management of our property portfolio. We therefore require a property advisor who can help to develop our asset base in the interests of The Salvation Army, its tenants and all the people we help across the globe,' said managing director Ann Woodall.
