International law firm Salans has appointed three new real estate practice group heads in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Jiøí Stržínek and Michal Hink have been appointed co-heads of the Czech Republic Real Estate Practice Group and counsel Sona Hanková (pictured) has been named as the head of the Slovak Real Estate Practice Group.

Stržínek joined Salans in 2004 after working for five years in the Prague office of Weil, Gotshal & Manges. He was promoted to partner in 2010 and now manages the Real Estate Finance Sector Group within the firm’s Global Real Estate Group.

Michal Hink also joined Salans in 2004 after working for five years with Weil, Gotshal & Manges in Prague.

Hanková will be working in close co-operation with partner Jiøí Stržínek, the new co-head of the Salans Prague Real Estate Practice Group. She has worked for Salans since 1998 and was promoted to counsel in 2009.
