Salamanca, a Cyprus-based merchant bank and operational risk management business, has recruited Crockford as managing director of the special projects division
Crockford has over 25 years of experience delivering high profile and complex projects in the property development industry.
During his tenure Crockford's remit grew from the London stadium to include delivery of over half of the Olympic Park including the Aquatics Centre, Water Polo venue and the Arcelor Mittal Orbit.
The ODA management of London 2012 preparations have received worldwide acclaim and Crockford was recently awarded RIBA Client of the Year for his work there.
He also led the London Eye project from concept to operation for which he was awarded the CIOB gold medal Project Manager of the Year for Millennium Projects.
