The three-year appointment comes as S Immo’s founder Ernst Vejdovszky retires from the board in June after being with the group for over 30 years.

S Immo has also appointed Herwig Teufelsdorfer as chief investment officer. He will take up his position at the beginning of the second quarter of 2021 at the latest.

Ettenauer joins from ETTERRA Real Estate, where he held the post of CEO. He quit his position at CA Immo at end-2015, having joined the company in 2006 as a member of the executive board and CEO since 2009.

Under his leadership, the company established itself as one of the leading developers and owners of office assets in Germany. At the same time, it gained a leading position in Central Europe, where CA Immo holds a portfolio of office assets across Austria, Germany, Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary and Romania.
