Zenprop, a South African-based privately held property company, has bought two assets in Manchester and Doncaster in the UK from Luxembourg-based Azure Property for an undisclosed amount. The real estate division of International law firm SJ Berwins advised Zenprop on the acquisition of the properties which are leased with long-term agreements and strong covenants.

This is the first transaction SJ Berwin has carried out for Zenprop. Details of the deal are confidential, but the firm hopes this will be the first of further potential acquisitions by Zenprop in the UK commercial property market.

SJ Berwins' real estate partner Patrick Ryan led the deal, with assistance from associates Steven Cowins and Rachel Scarebelotti. The vendor was advised by Deepa Debb of Berwin Leighton Paisner.
