Knight Frank's private equity unit Rutley Capital Partners has received a takeover offer for its listed fund, Rutley European Property. In a statement on Monday, the company's board announced that it has received approaches from third parties which 'may or may not lead to an offer being made for the entire issued share capital of the company.' It added that a further announcement will be made 'in due course'.

The fund is a Guernsey-registered vehicle with capital of around £162 mln. Managed by Rutley Capital Partners, the fund targets pan-European core-plus real estate, including office, retail and warehouse assets, with a primary geographic focus on Germany, Poland, Hungary and the Czech Republic.
