A Russian pension fund has signed a preliminary agreement to buy two office towers at St Petersburg Airportcity from Austrian developers Warimpex and CA Immo.
Neither the purchase price nor the name of the buying fund have been disclosed. The deal is expected to close in mid-2014.
The buildings, Jupiter 1 and Jupiter 2, have 16,800 m2 of space and are fully let. Airport City is located near Pulkovo 2 airport, St Petersburg’s main international terminal.
The office towers are currently owned by Zao Avielen, a joint venture between Warimpex (55%), Vienna-listed CA Immo Group (35%) and UBM (10%).
In August 2013, Zao Avielen agreed a €60 mln refinancing deal with a local bank for the asset.
