Dutch investor Rubens Capital Partners has announced the acquisition of three major residential portfolios in the Netherlands.
A foreign institutional fund managed by Rubens has acquired two housing packages from Syntrus Achmea Real Estate & Finance on behalf of clients, for a total of €115 mln.
They include six residential complexes with a total of 345 units owned by BPL Pensioen and another seven buildings with 376 apartments acquired from Syntrus' client PME. The properties are located in Doetinchem, Kampen, Hoorn, Sommelsdijk, Venlo and Zevenaar and were developed between 1969 and 1990.
In addition, Rubens has bought 535 homes, one commercial unit and 307 parking spaces from CBRE GI's Dutch Residential Fund.
The assets are located in 13 locations in the Netherlands and were mostly built after 1999. Financial details of the purchase were not disclosed.
Also this week, Rubens Capital Partners sold a portfolio of 450 apartments to investor Orange Capital Partners for a price of €90 mln. The bulk of the assets are located in the Randstad conurbation of the Netherlands, with around 40% of the rental income generated by assets located in Amsterdam.
