Retail focused advisory firm Retail Partners Europe (RPE) has appointed Diego Carretero Molero to a new position leading the firm's logistics investment in Spain.
Prior to joining RPE, Carretero worked in the investment team of Aguirre Newman for six years, focusing on the logistics sector.
Carretero will work closely with pan-European investment director Danny Kinnoch in advising clients on the sale and purchase of logistics assets in Spain.
'We are a client focused firm and many of our investors are keen to grow into the logistics sector,' commented Steven Weaving, director and head of RPE's Spanish business.
'Given its obvious connection with retail, expansion into the logistics sector was a logical decision for us to take to grow our business.'
RPE was established in 2010 and has offices in London, Madrid, Lisbon and Paris. In 2017 the company was involved in over €1 bn of retail transactions in Spain and Portugal.
