Colliers and Horten Law Firm have been commissioned to offer for sale the iconic multi-arena, which hosts between 60 and 80 live events annually.
Royal Arena is one of Denmark's most distinctive, flexible and modern constructions built specifically to host major music, cultural and sporting events - from concerts with international artists to stand-up shows and indoor sports competitions.
Royal Arena seats up to 16,500 guests and is operated by Live Nation Entertainment Inc, one of the world's largest organisers of live entertainment.
'We are looking forward to offering the Royal Arena, which is an absolutely world-class multi-arena and an impressive building with many exciting details as well as state-of-the-art technology and acoustics. We expect the sale to attract a lot of international attention,' said Kristian Axel Stokholm, senior director & associate partner, Capital Markets, Colliers, Denmark.
Royal Arena is currently owned by Realdania and the City of Copenhagen. The building is now to be sold, and the owners have chosen Colliers in co-operation with Horten Law Firm to conduct the public sale.
The sale will take place as a bidding process with a deadline of 10 December this year.
