Rowan Asset Management announced on Friday that it has awarded a contract to a joint venture of Imoplan and Frankfurt-based Skim for the property management of the EUR 180 mln Andreas property fund in Germany. Rowan acquired the private equity German property fund in March 2006. The 100,000 m[sup]2[/sup] portfolio comprises six retail warehouses, a shopping centre and two fast-food outlets in northern and western Germany.

Rowan acquired the private equity German property fund in March 2006. The 100,000 m2 portfolio comprises six retail warehouses, a shopping centre and two fast-food outlets in northern and western Germany.
Imoplan provides a range of management services for almost one million m2 of commercial and residential property space in Germany. Frankfurt-based Schüler Knedel Immobilienmanagement (Skim) offers all aspects of asset and property management as well as fund and finance management.
Rowan is a privately owned property company and fund manager based in the UK. The company has received some £500 mln (EUR ) in mandates so far this year.
