UK-based asset manager Round Hill Capital has acquired a 976-unit residential portfolio in the Netherlands from bad bank Propertize for around €89 mln.
The acquisition is Round Hill’s third in the Dutch market this year and brings the total amount spent so far this year to €635 mln.
The firm entered the Dutch market in June with the acquisition of a 1,584-unit housing portfolio from CBRE Global Investors for €180 mln. It followed this up in November with the purchase of a portfolio of 3,786 units from Dutch housing fund WIF for around €365 mln.
Capital Value advised on the latest deal, which is expected to close in January.
Founded in 2002, Round Hill Capital is a fully integrated real estate investor and asset manager with offices in the UK, Germany, Luxembourg, the US and the Netherlands. The firm has around €4.4 bn of European real estate assets under management. It is also active in the German residential market, which it entered in 2007 and where it recently sold a portfolio in Berlin for €86 mln.
