Property investor and manager Round Hill Capital has appointed John Baker, former chief financial officer of DTZ Global Investment and Asset Management, as its new CFO.

Property investor and manager Round Hill Capital has appointed John Baker, former chief financial officer of DTZ Global Investment and Asset Management, as its new CFO.

In his new role, Baker will take on responsibility for the financial management of Round Hill’s portfolio of mandates, which comprises over $4 bn of real estate assets across Europe.

In addition, he will be responsible for the structuring and modelling of new products, including the establishment of the necessary legal and operational frameworks.

Baker joins Round Hill with 15 years of financial real estate experience, having most recently spent seven years at DTZ GIAM. Prior to that, he held senior finance positions at YFM Group, Thompson Clive, GRE and Lazard Bros. & Co. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and has an MBA from London Business School.

Round Hill has also appointed Lars Jeppsson as senior asset management associate, and Ryan Pierce as asset management associate. Prior to joining Round Hill, Jeppsson spent seven years working for UBS, EMI, Terra Firma and Citigroup in various capacities.

Pierce recently graduated from London Business School with an MBA. Prior to his studies, he spent over six years in PwC’s real estate advisory team in New York and Los Angeles.
