Edmond de Rothschild Real Estate Investment Management has revealed it is launching a new credit fund as it elevates Ralf Kind to head of Germany.

The company said Kind would not only be CEO for Germany. He will also retain his previous role as head of real estate debt.

Kind is to expand investment strategies, especially in the areas of logistics and industry as well as office properties. At the same time, he will lead the pan-European lending business, including the launch of a new European credit fund.

It is tipped to be launching a new €500 mln European credit strategy. 

Kind has around 25 years of professional experience in the real estate sector and financial markets. Prior to joining Edmond de Rothschild REIM in 2019, he was CEO of Demire, and before that he was CEO and co-founder of Arbireo Capital and worked in investment banking at Barclays Capital, among other things.
