Global real estate investment manager LaSalle has named Tom Rose, currently head of UK relative returns, as head of custom accounts Europe.
He will succeed Julian Agnew, who is departing the company, as of 1 December 2022.
For over two decades, Rose has played a significant role in Agnew's team, managing client portfolios with relative return investment strategies within the UK.
Reporting to Philip La Pierre, head of Europe at LaSalle, Rose will continue to construct and position client portfolios, guaranteeing competitive investment performance within the context of each client's unique risk-return requirements.
Additionally, Rose will be a part of LaSalle's European Management Board, with responsibility for custom accounts.
Rose commented: ‘It is an honour to be appointed Julian’s successor and lead our custom accounts business in Europe. We are committed and driven to deliver the best possible performance for our clients’ long-term success. I look forward to working with our custom accounts clients in this new role, supported by our integrated pan-European operating platform and market-leading research, to achieve the investment objectives of their real estate investment programmes.’
La Pierre added: ‘Tom’s unique skillset and professional experience positions him well to take on this role, having been a member of Julian’s team for over 20 years. I look forward to working with Tom as a member of our European Management Board to build upon custom accounts’ contribution to our pan-regional, best-in-class client offering.’
