West Country-based Rok Development is planning a £30 mln (EUR 45.5 mln) business park in Clevedon, south-west of England. The construction company has submitted planning permission to North Somerset council to build a park on a 20-acre site at Kenn Road, opposite the Kenn Business Park.
The development will see the creation of 30,658 m2 of commercial units, and Rok said it has already been contacted by 20 companies interested in relocating to the park.

'We have received invaluable feedback during the pre-planning consultation period and we are looking to provide a range of measures to address the issues raised. These include enhanced pedestrian and cycle crossing facilities, traffic management measures to reduce the speed limit along Kenn Road, financial contributions towards the enhancement of bus services and the creation of two new bus stops as well as money towards a new footpath on the western side of Kenn Road', stated Rok Development's director at Bristol Office Simon Tothill.
