UK-based Rockspring Property Investment Managers has been appointed to provide asset management consultancy for a portfolio, mainly comprising retail assets, in Hungary on behalf of Anglo Irish Bank.
Rockspring was chosen by Anglo Irish to asset manage and provide strategic advice on a 100,000-m2 portfolio of assets located throughout Hungary. The portfolio consists of 22 retail warehouse units (91,000 m2), an industrial unit (4,600 m2) and an office building (9,000 m2).
'This is the first time Rockspring has been appointed to solely manage a portfolio for a lending bank,' said Simon Clarke, Rockspring's European director in Budapest. He will be supervising the asset management of the portfolio.
