Rockfield Real Estate, the Dutch property development firm fully owned by Wouter van den Eijnden and previously known as IC Netherlands, has announced the appointment of Edvard van Luijn as new head of Acquisitions with effect from January 2021.

In this position, he will be responsible for real estate acquisitions and purchases, based on the mandates of the institutional investors of Rockfield Real Estate. Van Luijn (aged 49) previously worked as director Acquisition & Development at Syntrus Achmea and before then he spent six years as head of Acquisition at Altera Vastgoed.

He started his career at ING Real Estate Development for thirteen years, as director of Acquisition & Sales.

Rockfield Real Estate, previously known as IC Netherlands, owns a portfolio of approximately 7,500 homes that are either operational or under development. The firm started 6 years ago as a developer / investor for student housing purposed buildings.
