Robert Heinemann will join the management board of Hamburg-based developer ECE in the position of managing director HR & corporate services as of 1 March, the company announced in a press release.
Heinemann will succeed Lothar Kappich, who has reached ECE's retirement age for a management board member.
In his new position, Heinemann will be responsible for HR, IT, communication, legal, compliance, insurance, sustainability and internal services, as well as organisational development.
Heinemann joined ECE in 1999. He previously held the position of senior director of centre management where he was responsible for the operations of 120 centres in six countries, including Germany. He started his ECE career in the corporate communications department before transferring to the center management division as director.
Heinemann has a degree in business administration and completed the advanced management programme of Harvard Business School.
