Bovina joins from Make Shift and will support with the servicing of Rivercrown’s existing mandates including its €250 mln annual allocation mandate with a sovereign wealth fund.

She will also support with the origination, underwriting, execution and loan asset management of real estate debt opportunities in the UK and Europe. Bovina has previously held positions at Mediobanca and Unicredit Bank.

Rivercrown’s debt investment management division has been highly active recently. In 2020 it launched its special situations credit vehicle, to support borrowers with funding gaps or short-to-medium term dislocation. This followed the appointment of Charles Archer to lead the division in late 2019.

Archer commented: 'We are delighted to welcome Alessandra to our team. Her strong real estate finance experience will be invaluable as we continue to grow our business in the UK and across Europe, including in the special situations credit space as the market emerges from the pandemic.'

Established in 2004, Rivercrown’s business is organised in two divisions. Principal investment debt and equity, and financial and capital markets advisory.

Rivercrown has executed more than €10 bn of transactions through its principal investment debt and equity division.
