Italian property company Risanamento said on Tuesday it has reached an agreement with bank Intesa Sanpaolo regarding a EUR 150mln credit facility. In a statement, the company said it expects the agreement to be signed in the next few days.

At the end of March, Risanamento said it was putting a EUR 1 bn property portfolio up for sale in a move designed to generate much-needed cash to refinance its debt. The property firm, which is headed by Luigi Zunino, appointed banks Intesa Sanpaolo and Mediobanca to sell its trading portfolio consisting of 30 commercial assets in Italy and three in France. The group's total debt stands at EUR 2.4 bn.
