Oliver Hopkins joins Ringley as investment director to broaden the asset management strategies, from acquisition through to disposal, for institutional investors in the build-to-rent, co-living and senior-living sectors. He joins Ringley from Foxtons, where he was a build-to-rent (BTR) and residential development investment specialist. His focus will be on helping investors maximise the performance of existing, stabilised portfolios.

Ringley’s head of Alternative Living Mitch Hammond also joins from Foxtons, where he specialised in occupational BTR. The pair will work closely together and provide capital markets advice, including on operational underwriting. They will report to group CEO Mary-Anne Bowring.

BTR specialist Ringley is looking to expand its institutional investment client base in the living sectors, from affordable housing to co-living, purpose-built student accommodation and senior living. It currently includes the likes of Patrizia, Europa Capital, Gresham House and Rise Homes.

Ringley, which manages a £6 bn mixed-tenure portfolio comprising 13,000 homes, partners with institutional investors and family offices to design and implement asset and operational management strategies from site selection through to acquisition, planning, design operations and exit. It also works with owners of existing assets to enhance their operational strategies.
