Property and construction consultancy Rider Levett Bucknall said it has been appointed to manage a £30 mln (EUR 38mln), three-year refurbishment programme at Young's, the oldest brewer in the UK. Young's has earmarked 18 of its 'inns with rooms' sites, each which will have extensions to accommodate between 15 and 30 new guestrooms. A number of existing rooms will also be refurbished while public areas in the properties are also being updated.

Rider Levett said its Bristol office will provide a full package of services, including project management, quantity surveying, CDM co-ordinator services as well as party wall. Young's operates pubs with restaurants and accommodation across the south of England.
