Rhydderch said his decision to leave Eastdil and investment agency was ‘nothing to do with Eastdil, which is a spectacular firm’, adding that he had ‘always had an itch’ to work as a principal eventually.

Operating as Peck7, he plans to work alongside a number of different investors and operating companies around Europe that he knows well. ‘They come from either a development, asset management or leasing background and their businesses are becoming bigger and more diverse,’ he said.

He is also remaining as a senior adviser to Eastdil.

Over his career as a capital markets adviser, Rhydderch has worked for CBRE and Cushman & Wakefield and in several European countries including Italy, Portugal and the UK. In 2013 he went to work at Brookfield Financial before moving to Eastdil as a managing director in 2015.
