Spanish listed property firm Renta Corporación has announced the sale of two office buildings in Madrid for a total of EUR 40 mln.

The deal, one of just half a dozen large transactions executed in Spain this year, involves 80 Gran Vía and 11 Príncipe de Vergara in the Spanish capital.

The Gran Vía property offers 7,000 m2 of space and was sold to a family investment firm which will transform it into a hotel. The price amounted to EUR 20 mln.

Príncipe de Vergara, with 5,700 m2 of space, is to be converted to residential and office accommodation. The buyer is an unnamed Latin American company.
