UK property developer-owner-operators Related Argent and global investor The Olayan Group have completed a new BTR project in one of London's most connected locations.
Author King's Cross consists of 182 rental homes in the King's Cross estate, featuring design-led apartments, state-of-the-art residents' amenities and services, and exclusive benefits.
Located at 180 York Way, Author King's Cross comprises three contemporary buildings ranging in height between three and 16 storeys, centered on a landscaped courtyard garden designed by Urban Fabric.
Related Argent has worked closely with leading architectural practices David Morley Architects, Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios, and Haptic to give each building a distinctive style.
The one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments are furnished by David Phillips with Nordic-style furniture and offer the highest specification and energy-efficient appliances.
Tom Goodall, managing director of Related Argent, said: ‘We are excited to launch Author King's Cross, our BTR scheme in one of London's most sought-after locations. We have led the redevelopment and rejuvenation of this area for the last 20 years, and it is wonderful to now offer rental homes at King's Cross. We are committed to changing the UK rental experience for the better, and have plans to expand our BTR homes in the UK across a range of large and smaller sites.’
Michael Herrington, director of BTR operations at Related Argent, added: ‘Author King's Cross provides residents with everything on their doorstep, with state-of-the-art lifestyle amenities to support healthy living, work-from-home, entertainment, and relaxation. The design-led homes and exceptional service for residents combine to make this the place for Londoners searching for a rental home. We are already seeing strong enquiry levels, and we look forward to welcoming our first residents.’
Amenities include a fitness centre, crèche, snug screening room with popcorn machine, private dining room and coffee and wine bar, pet wash, secure bicycle storage, and car parking spaces with electric charging.
An on-site Related Argent team will support residents with services such as laundry and cleaning, in-home delivery, and building maintenance.
Residents will benefit from living in one of the best areas in London as part of the King's Cross estate, with on-trend retail, a wide variety of eating and drinking options, and a rich culture calendar of events.
The homes at Author King's Cross will be ready to move into later this summer and will be the first to launch in Related Argent's UK BTR portfolio of 3,000 BTR homes, across three locations (King's Cross, Tottenham Hale, and Brent Cross Town).
