Redevco Sweden has purchased a retail warehouse in Malmö from NCC Property Development. The property, which is fully let, is on a prime location in the recently established Toftanäs retail park, and provides about 4,800 m[sup]2[/sup] of retail space. It was constructed in 2007 and is let to BoConcept, Blomsterlandet, Hemma-butikerna and Beckers Färg on long leases. Toftanäs is a new retail park strategically located in the eastern part of Malmö between the city's two ring roads.

The deal was made by means of a corporate takeover. The purchase price was SEK 101 mln (EUR 11 mln). Andrew Vaughan, managing director of Redevco Nordics, said: 'This is our 5th transaction in the Nordic region this year and we are very happy to further strengthen our position in the expansive Öresund Region.'
