Redevco Investment Management, a London-based platform established by Dutch privately held retail real estate specialist Redevco for third-party investors, has assigned new roles to managing directors Manolito van Ardenne and Adam Starr.
The new appointments are part of Redevco's growth plans for the external funds business, the company said.
'Our experience shows that the best results are achieved by putting people in positions where they can draw on their specialist skills and be tightly focused,' said Andrew Vaughan, Redevco’s CEO. 'We already have specialist local teams in place that use their knowledge of local markets to find and source the best deals. We are now putting additional emphasis on our investment management activities and with even greater focus on investor relations and acquisitions with two new, dedicated roles.'
Van Ardenne takes up the head of capital markets role with a focus on capital raising as well as managing client portfolios, fund operations and investor relations. He has worked at Redevco for nine years and prior to his appointment as managing director of the funds business in 2014 held various finance and management roles in the group.
Starr is appointed head of acquisitions with responsibility to coordinate deal sourcing and manage transactions across the Redevco organisation. Starr has held various commercial and management roles since joining the company in 2002.
He will also maintain his previous roles at Redevco, namely managing director of Redevco UK and managing director investment management.
