Dutch real estate company Redevco and Harvard University's Graduate School of Design are organising a design workshop to explore the possibilities for the creation of a new high-end retail destination in Amsterdam's Beethovenstraat-Zuidas district.

Dutch real estate company Redevco and Harvard University's Graduate School of Design are organising a design workshop to explore the possibilities for the creation of a new high-end retail destination in Amsterdam's Beethovenstraat-Zuidas district.

Redvco, a retail property specialist active across Europe, said in a statement on Wednesday that it believes there is room for premium retail at the Ravel area development, part of the larger development of the Zuidas business district. Redevco is an investor in the Ravel development.

Professor Richard Peiser, Professor Bing Wang, Baptist Brayé, visiting scholar at Harvard University, and 12 graduate students will be visiting Amsterdam to explore the Zuidas location and the Amsterdam retail landscape In the week starting 3 March. The group will meet during the week with a large number of stakeholders, including the city's planning department DRO, the Zuidas organisation and prominent Amsterdam retailers.
