The fully leased portfolio, with a total land area of 74,352 m2, consists of eight to 15 drive-through maintenance bays at each property, with an average site coverage of 15%.

The latest acquisitions will further boost Realterm’s transportation logistics real estate platform in Europe.

Alberto Radice Fossati, managing director and fund manager, Realterm, said: ‘We strongly believe in the performance of the European IOS market and welcome the addition of this portfolio to the fund. Low site coverage IOS facilities, which facilitate transport movement, are a main focus of Realterm’s strategy. These assets, with an average EPC A, are situated in prime logistics locations in the Noord-Brabant and Limburg provinces and funded 100 percent by equity.’

Jon Chalkley, senior VP investments Europe, Realterm, added: ‘The European logistics market has seen tremendous growth in these past few years. These four properties are a tremendous addition to our European portfolio as we continue to secure the best industrial outdoor storage locations in key markets.’

Marieke de Jong, head of investments for Realterm in the Benelux region led the transaction, while Realterm was represented by Jones Lang Lasalle, DLA Piper, SGS Search and Longevity Partner.

Realterm manages over $11 bn (€10 bn) in assets across five transportation logistics-oriented private equity fund series in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific.
