Mast will identify suitable properties and execute transactions, reporting to Barbara Geidner-Buchelt, international investment management team leader.

Mast worked for more than 12 years as a consultant in Savills Netherlands’ commercial real estate team. In 2015, he founded Mast Property Services to operate independently in transaction management.

'Over the past 13 years, Maikel Mast has provided support for Real IS with many transactions,' said Melanie Grüneke, head of Real IS Netherlands.

'During this time, we were able to convince ourselves of his expertise, his commitment and his network within the Dutch real estate market. We are planning an investment volume of around €200 mln on the Dutch market in 2019,' added Axel Schulz, global head of investment management of Real IS.

With branches in six German cities, as well as in Paris, Madrid, Luxembourg and Amsterdam, Real IS is represented in five European countries in total.
