Real IS has acquired the M Square office complex in Munich's Westend for its special real estate alternative investment vehicle, Real IS BGV VI.
The two buildings with around 25,000 m2 in total are fully let. The complex in the Elsenheimerstraße 61 - 67 comprises a total of 318 parking spaces, 230 of which are in the buildings' own underground car park. The anchor tenants include the Munich Business School, MSG Life, a software and consultancy firm, and Computershare, a company specialised in finance management.
Grünwald-based Office Park Westend, a joint venture of Robert Hübner Unternehmensgruppe and Competo Capital Partners, is the seller. The parties agreed to keep the purchase price confidential.
'What is particularly important to us with this investment is that, having been completely refurbished, the property is now a high quality and ultra modern office building as well as being sustainable and energy efficient,' said Real IS board member Jochen Schenk. '
The purchase of the property in Munich is the seventh investment for BGV VI.
