Previously the developer secured a construction license, completed the construction of the access road and relocated both the main sewage and transmission lines.

Located in the Bobovica economic zone, RC Zone Samobor will offer over 86,000 m2 of storage space, with a net height of 12 metres, suitable for logistics as well as production activities.

The warehouse will have around 140,000 pallet places, while administrative spaces are planned at the eastern and western ends of the building, with changing rooms, living spaces for co-workers and technical rooms.

The storage hall will be used for the storage of food and non-food products as well as their distribution.

Marko Vitelj, country manager for Croatia of RC Europe, said: ‘We are successfully continuing with our RC Zone Samobor logistics park project, which will represent a good example of green and sustainable construction in the logistics segment in Croatia. Now, together with a local partner, the reputable construction company Facies with a vast experience of working on demanding projects, we are one step closer to realizing an investment which will, with its 86,000 m2 of storage space, surely meet the needs of our future tenants.’

Marinko Mandic, deputy director of Facies, added: ‘We were delighted to receive the news that Facies was selected by another large and significant investor in the economic development of our region. We will justify the trust shown to us by delivering quality work and using our expertise to help successfully realize this commendable project.’

The modern warehouse will meet the latest construction and ecological standards.

It will be strategically located near Slovenia and the Western European road networks, as well as the exit to Croatia’s A3 highway, which is ideal for trade operations and logistics.
