Austria-based developer Raiffeisen evolution has appointed Michaela Steinacker as general representative in its real estate team and chairwoman of the advisory council for shareholders.

Austria-based developer Raiffeisen evolution has appointed Michaela Steinacker as general representative in its real estate team and chairwoman of the advisory council for shareholders.

The jurist and manager has several years of experience in real estate business having previously worked for property companies including Örag, BIG and ÖBB-real estate management. Steinacker moved to the management team of Raiffeisen-Holding Niederoesterreich-Wien in 2008.

She will work on future strategy for the company headed by managing directors Markus Neurauter and Gerald Beck.

Raiffeisen evolution is active in Austria and in Central and Eastern Europe, with a development portfolio consisting primarily of residential and office buildings, and to a minor extent of hotels, shopping centres as well as mixed-use properties.

The group has currently 25 projects underway with a total area of 743,000 m2 and a total volume of almost €1 bn.
