London-based property developer Quintain has appointed its chairman, Angus Dodd, to take over as chief executive following the resignation of Max James.
James is stepping down with effect from 27 June, though he will continue to act as a consultant to the business. Olivier Brahin, European president at Quintain’s parent company Lone Star, will replace Dodd as chairman.
Dodd is currently senior managing director and co-head of European real estate at Lone Star, in addition to his responsibilities at Quintain.
He said: ‘I am delighted to be taking over as chief executive at such a pivotal moment for the business following the recent approval of a new Masterplan for Wembley Park by Brent Council. Quintain is committed to playing a key part in the next phase of the development of this unique part of London.’
Quintain also said it had strengthened its team with the appointment of Sir David Higgins, an expert in infrastructure and regeneration, and Professor Ricky Burdett, a specialist in urban planning and design, as senior advisers to the board.
