UK urban-regeneration specialist Queensberry has launched an office in the North of England, and announced three new hires.
The London-based developer is opening a Sheffield office to access an increasing number of clients outside the capital, with Andrew Davison (pictured) joining the team from Turner Townsend as project director.
'Queensberry is an entrepreneurial property company and the opening of a second office reflects our strategy of widening our development expertise geographically and sector wide,' said Paul Sargent, Queensberry chief executive and co-founder.
The strategic expansion coincides with the next construction phase of the £470 mln Heart of the City II regeneration scheme in Sheffield, where work will commence on a 50-unit residential building and a 40,000 ft2 office building early next year.
The new office will also serve as an outpost for the team on the £130 mln Barnsley town centre regeneration programme, The Glass Works, where construction will also start in Q1 2019.
Davison will be joined in October by Michael Norris, who previously worked for Centre Parcs, adding further project manager resource.
In London, the firm has also welcomed Charlie Hibbert from Arcadis to focus on investment analysis and acquisitions for clients and co investors.
