Europe’s super league of Top Investors in real estate is growing in size. This year the top 10 in the PropertyEU annual ranking accounted for no less than €280 bn in assets under management, an increase of 4% year-on-year. The top 5 performed even better - together they account for €161 bn this year, a rise of 6%. All in all, the top 100 in Europe managed just over €1 trn in real estate assets at end-2012. The UK accounts for the biggest portion of the pie, followed by Germany and France. The US is also gaining ground.
