PropertyEU is launching a series of Expert Investment Briefings to provide a meeting point for senior real estate leaders across Europe. The first event focussing on real estate investment opportunities in the German market will be held on 23 February in Amsterdam. Subsequent meetings will be held in London, Frankfurt, Paris, Stockholm and New York.

To coordinate the meetings, PropertyEU has formed an alliance with Richard Betts who assumed the position of Associate Publisher PropertyEU Investment Briefings from 1 January 2012. He will be assisted by Thorsten Herbert who has been appointed Head Event Sales from the same date. Richard has over 20 years of experience in investment and finance markets and previously worked with Euromoney Institutional Investor, FT Business and Property Investor Europe. Thorsten brings a deep experience of both local and cross-border European real estate markets from previous roles as sales director at REurope and Property Investor Europe. Together with Richard Betts, he was instrumental in developing the successful Property Breakfast meetings at PIE until the end of last year.
