Housing minister Stef Blok and 15 real estate experts feature on the panel for a conference on the Dutch market in London on 7 September. The day-long 'Dutch day' marks the relaunch of PropertyEU's Investment Briefing programme after the summer break.
Large portfolio transactions recently completed in the Netherlands by Tristan Capital Partners and Ares underscore the huge swing in sentiment on the market which was seen as an 'office graveyard' just a few years ago.
Investment volumes for the second quarter of 2015 came to €2.7 bn, up 8% on the same period last year, according to figures from CBRE. A host of global investors is looking to do more in the market over the next few months, in many cases in partnership with local players.
PropertyEU's 4th annual Netherlands Investment Briefing brings investment specialists from across the Dutch market as well as representatives of both local and national government to London for a full-day event.
The conference is designed to give an international audience insights and local intelligence on the investment outlook, macro economy and politics, key occupier and market trends, sectors, cities, regions, investment vehicles and opportunities.
The speakers include housing minister Stef Blok, Bouwinvest CEO Dick van Hal; Michael Walton of Rynda Property Investors; Jos Short of Internos, and Greg Clark, senior research fellow, ULI Europe.
