'Imagine somewhere an investor in unlisted real estate could go to find the latest updates for the many funds in which he invests, in one place, accessed by a single password. Where he could find current market pricing of those funds from a number of leading brokers; and get details on new fund launches as well as links to key industry players. This is the vision for Indirex,' said company founder and head Colin Barber.
Barber claims the database has already signed up clients representing all four of the major user types including a fund manager, investor, broker and advisor.
John Cartwright, Chief Executive of AREF, the UK association for the non-listed real estate sector, commented: 'We welcome the Indirex initiative which supports AREF's ongoing commitment to transparency and efficiency within the industry.'
