The 34,000 m2 facility just southwest of Hamburg will be the company's main European distribution warehouse, serving markets in Germany, Austria, Belgium, Switzerland, Scandinavia, eastern Europe and the UK. A further 20,000 m2 of adjacent land, also controlled by Prologis, could be developed to accommodate a second distribution centre of 10,000 m2.
