Industrial property giant Prologis will develop two logistics facilities in Central & Eastern Europe totalling 578,000 sq ft (53,700 m2).
The developments, both expected to complete in the fourth quarter, include a 323,000 sq ft (30,000 m2) facility at Prologis Park Prague Airport in the Czech Republic and a 255,000 sq ft (23,700 m2) facility at Prologis Park Bratislava in Slovakia.
The building in Bratislava is nearly 40% pre-leased to Geis Group, a global, full-service logistics provider. The park is currently 100% leased.
'These new developments will provide high-quality logistics facilities in two growing markets,' said Philip Dunne, president of Prologis Europe.
Prologis owns and manages 152 million sq ft (14.1 million m2) of logistics and distribution space in Europe as of March 31, 2014.
