Industrial property owner and operator Prologis has signed two lease agreements totalling around 33,055 m2 in Germany.
The transactions include a 20,400-m2 build-to-suit expansion of Prologis Park Hunxe in western Germany for one of the country's largest providers of third-party logistics services. The expansion, which is being carried out on property from Prologis' land bank, is scheduled for completion this autumn and will increase the size of the facility to approximately 60,400 m2.
At Prologis Park Munich-Neufahrn, Prologis has signed a 12,655-m2 lease with the MAN Group, one of Europe's leading manufacturers of commercial vehicles, engines and mechanical engineering equipment.
Prologis' platform of operating and development properties in Germany amounts to 1.6 million m2.
