Global distribution facility specialist Prologis announced it has signed second-quarter lease agreements totalling approximately 61,400 m[sup]2[/sup] with four customers in Europe.

Global distribution facility specialist Prologis announced it has signed second-quarter lease agreements totalling approximately 61,400 m2 with four customers in Europe.

'Prologis remains the market leader in Europe with a diverse portfolio of modern, well-located distribution space,' said Philip Dunne, Prologis president in Europe.

DB Schenker, the third-party logistics company for Deutsche Bahn is to occupy 22,000 m2 of previously unleased space at Prologis Park Jonkoping Building One, located in Torsvik, Sweden, while specialty retailer Gap is to take 21,400 m2 of previously unleased space at Prologis Park Stafford Building Four in the UK. Following this transaction, the 83,900-m2, three-building distribution park is fully leased.

In a further deal, a logistics company will occupy 10,900 m2 at Prologis Park Lodi Building Seven, located near Milan, Italy. The building is an acquired property that was previously unleased.

Wurth Logistik Center, a third-party logistics company, will occupy 7,200 m2 of previously unleased space at Prologis Park Neuenstadt in southwest Germany.
