Prologis has signed a 25,000 m2 build-to-suit agreement in the Netherlands with Benelux online retailer Coolblue.
The new facility will be located at Prologis Park Tilburg, a 173,400 m2 master-planned industrial park in the main logistics hub in Tilburg. The park has additional build-out potential of 75,000 m2. With this agreement, the park is 100% leased.
'We have achieved revenue growth of more than 40% over 10 quarters,' said Coolblue CEO Pieter Zwart. today. 'This new facility will help us to meet our growth needs.'
'The park is ideally located for regional distribution and the rapid delivery of goods,' said Bram Verhoeven, senior vice president, country manager, Prologis Benelux.
Prologis is a major provider of industrial real estate in the Benelux, with 1.5 million m2 of logistics and distribution space as of 30 June 2014.
