The largest deals included a 20,400 m2 build-to-suit expansion at Prologis Park Hunxe in Germany, for one of the country’s largest providers of third-party logistics; a 17,500 m2 new lease at Prologis Park Pilsen-Stenovice near Prague in the Czech Republic; and a 20,500 m2 lease extension with UTi Hungary Logistics LLC at Prologis Park Budapest/Sziget.
During the second quarter of 2012 the company commenced two new build-to-suit developments in the UK and Germany comprising some 23,000 m2.
In Spain, Prologis acquired three fully-leased facilities in Spain, totalling 62,000 m2 in Granada del Penedes Village, a submarket near Barcelona.
In addition, Prologis completed the sale of approximately 29,000 m2 of buildings in Germany, and the sale of 99 hectares of non-core land in the UK and Germany.
